Mission Statement
Philosophy of Education
Seeing and forming Christ in the student is the object and raison d'être of the Poor Clare Missionary Sister; therefore, she considers her teaching profession a true vocation and apostolate of the Church. (Const. n. 91). This teaching vocation is carried out by each sister at Santa Clara every day.
Equipment and Materials
Served by the Poor Clare Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, in Santa Clara we believe children learn from experience and involving activities, according to the phrase Benjamin Franklin used to say: “Tell me, and I forget; teach me, and I remember; involve me and I learn.” In Santa Clara we live the values of faith, charity, hope, loyalty, honesty, and improvement; having the goal to form Christ in each student, which is forming good leaders for tomorrow from the very basic principles of a good citizen. Equipment and materials required are the ones that are required by a high-quality preschool class and playground. Trying to get the most appropriate equipment and materials that would help the development and creativity of the children. Physical arrangement is arranged according to the Title 22 regulations.

About Us
Located in Santa Ana, Ca. Santa Clara opened its doors in the year of 1965, to fulfill the desire of Blessed Mother Maria Ines Teresa Arias (foundress of the Poor Clare Missionary Sisters, who serve at Santa Clara), to provide to the Californian families a safe environment to take care of their children. Licensed by the California Department of Social Services since February 10th, 1994, we are looking to help our local community by providing a center dedicated to promote a nourishing, safe, educational, and faith-based environment for preschool age children (2-5 years old).
